FCA offers a variety of musical training opportunities. We begin in kindergarten through the sixth grade with a weekly music class that introduces both music theory and music appreciation. Simple instruments are introduced in these enjoyable classes.
Private piano lessons are available for students in grades 3 and up. Parents are asked to sign their child up for piano in May and June for the next school term.
FCA also has choirs, ensembles, and special groups both in junior high and high school levels. |

The students of FCA participate in the state-wide Fine Arts competition hosted by the North Carolina Christian School Association. Students compete in the areas of vocal solo, ensemble, chorale and choir, as well as instrumental solo and duet. The elementary students also participate in Bible Sword Drill and Poetry Recitation in the Speech category.
In the month of April, the high school students are involved in the annual Southeast Association of Church Schools Competition. They participate in the categories of music, platform, academics, athletics, arts, and crafts. In the area of music, students compete in vocal solo, duet, trio, quartet, ensemble, chorale, choir, as well as instrumental solo and duet.
