School Advisory Board

The Faith Christian Academy School Advisory Board was instituted in July of 2016 with the purpose of making FCA the very best Christian school possible. This board is advisory in nature and is designed to advise and assist with major decisions and help research and implement selected projects. The Faith Free Will Baptist Church Deacon Board is the final policy-making authority for Faith Christian Academy. Because of this structure, this new committee is appropriately named the School Advisory Board (SAB) to reflect its true mission.

School Advisory Board Mission. The FCA School Advisory Board (SAB) serves in both an advisory and implementation capacity to the school president and the school administrator. Decisions reached by the SAB are strictly recommendations and are not binding to either the school administrator, the school president, or the deacon board. It is left to the discretion of the above-mentioned individuals as to whether or not recommendations of the SAB will be acted upon or implemented.

Areas of Involvement. For clarification, the following areas of involvement have been established. The SAB will operate in conjunction with and at the direction of the school administration.

  1. Facilities
  2. Finances
  3. Curriculum
  4. Development
  5. Employee Benefits
  6. Promotions
  7. School Activities
  8. Appeals (student, employee, parents)
